Singing the high part is Tammy Parnell. Tammy, along with her husband Chris formed the ministry of Soul Harvest in 1998.

Tammy asked Christ into her heart at the tender age of 4. Some may say a child doesn’t understand what it means to have sin in their life and need salvation, but she begs to differ. She remembers the day and the time when Christ came into her life and through the years their relationship has changed from mere head knowledge to heart knowledge and a one on one personal relationship. She admits to not always making the best decisions or taking the right path through life, but through it all she’s tried to hold to the Father’s hand and He has always gotten her through and never let her down or left her alone.

When asked why do you travel and sing, Tammy responds with, “God has saved me from hell. He loves me in spite of what and who I am. He has given me a talent. He has bestowed upon me so much more than I could ever deserve, that I don’t know what else to do- I have to sing His praises and I try to show everyone I meet Christ though my actions and words. I’m not perfect by any means and my life isn’t perfect but God has been so faithful to me-I just try to do all I can for Him, to further His kingdom, to plant as many seeds as possible for Christ. My heart is burdened for lost souls. I don’t want anyone to miss an opportunity to accept Christ; I don’t want anyone to go to hell.”

Jimmy says...

I have been involved in some type of music just about all of my life. I love all kinds of music from old church hymns to contemporary  Christian, from country to rock to the crooners. Growing up in the church and asking Jesus into my heart at an early age, I began singing very early and I loved singing with my mom and dad and little sister. I love to sing about a wonderful God and I love the quartet sound. Some of my favorite quartets are the Cathedrals, Gold City, The Perry's and of course the Gaither Vocal band. I love the quartet harmonies and the family bond that the group developes. I look forward at the oportunity to use the talent God gave me.

Should you ask me what my favorite past-time is, I would say "golf" with my best buddies and singing southern gospel music and spending time with my family.  I will never be able to thank God enough for giving me the talent to sing the music I love so much. God deserves all the praise and glory in all that I do. God's word teaches us to go and tell others about His wonderful love and grace and I thank Him for the talent of singing, not only to lift up the name of Jesus but to encourage my fellow brothers and sisters and try to do my part in winning souls for the Kingdom.
